Anyone can learn to sing. If you’ve ever thought “I’m not a singer”, you might be surprised by what’s possible with the right coaching.
Singing with other people has the remarkable ability to cheer you up, even despite your best efforts. Surround yourself with like-minded women and sing in 4-part harmony that feels thrilling. Something shifts when you stand on a stage with 30 others and move your audience. You become a storyteller and a performer — part of a group that shows up for each other as much as the music.
You’ll be coached with patience and encouragement, in an environment that’s ambitious without being intimidating. You’ll receive feedback that starts with what you’re doing well, and coaching that builds you up every step of the way.
You don’t need to be ready. You just need to show up.
What to expect from Kersey Voices
Ever wondered what sets a moving performance apart from an impressive one? Musical expression is a skill, and you can learn it. You’ll develop your vocal technique, discover effective learning strategies, and learn how to create emotional impact with your voice.
Build skills at weekly rehearsals. Sing music that feels thrilling and stops people in their tracks. Stand on stage and deliver powerful performances. You’ll be coached and supported throughout, and you’ll be part of a group that takes what it does seriously, and keeps getting better.
Is this for me?
Something of your own
You want something of your own — something that’s yours to build and be proud of. You find joy in shared purpose and meaning, and you want to be part of something where your voice matters.
Ready to learn
You come ready to learn and willing to be changed by it. You understand that feedback is part of the process, not a verdict on your ability, and that a group grows faster when everyone participates.
Attitude over ability
Musical experience and reading ability are not required; you can learn as you go. Both audio tracks and sheet music are provided.
Where and when
Free taster session in Guildford on Thursday 14th January, 2027. Weekly rehearsals start the following Thursday.
